We built this Circuit City and tore it right down

//2009 edit — this was back when I was trying to find a job after secretary school and I had visited every temp place in town, in this case, Office Team//

The Office Team place I went to was in a building that had an elevator (an elevator!!), and when I was leaving the place, I had to get back on the (squeal) elevator, and this fed ex guy that looked just like Mike Nelson from Mystery Science Theater 3000 was in a hurry dropping off something, and so his ‘assistant’ held the elevator door for him, and we waited for him to come back. When he got back, and the doors closed, I watched him punch something in his handheld device thing, and him and his assistant were talking about his bad cold, and he told the assistant that “you don’t want to have what I have”, and I was going to hold the door for them in the lobby after they got off the elevator (since they were in such a hurry), but they refused and they held the door for me, and I watched them run to their Fed Ex truck, and as they left I thought:

“Man, those guys are so cool!”
